Nordic Christmas Open House, Saturday December 6th 5PM-7PM at Parkway UCC

We know Christmas is a busy time for everyone, so we’ll have a shorter gathering this year, commitment – free! We’ll be gathering at Parkway UCC again and hope that you will be able to drop by in between 5-7PM (volunteers show up at 4PM) on Saturday.
We’ll be offering various traditional Christmas foods, soft drinks and gløgg (BYOB if you want to add to it). We’ll also have some Nordic Christmas items, chocolate and items for sale. You will also be able to buy lottery tickets to win a basket of treats to dish out at your Christmas celebration (buy a ticket and add your phone number on the back, and we’ll contact you if you win).
We’ll have information about traditional Scandinavian Christmas celebrations, Christmas songs, tree and a crafts table if you want to make your own ornaments.
The Norwegian Society is joining up with the Danish Club, and we want to invite everyone that wants to come. We know the Swedes are busy practicing for their St Lucia event (I will also be rehearsing for the dance), but we hope everyone will have time to come for a respite, relaxing eating and chatting for however long.
